An air source heat pump extracts heat from the outside air — even in cold weather — and uses it to heat your home and hot water. Unlike a gas boiler which burns fuel, a heat pump moves heat that already exists in the air, making it significantly more efficient.

For every unit of electricity used, a heat pump can produce 3–4 units of heat — far more efficient than any gas boiler.
