We'd rather tell you your boiler can be fixed than sell you one you didn't need. If it can be economically repaired, we'll say so. If it's beyond sensible repair — a failed heat exchanger on an older unit, parts no longer available, or repair costs approaching the price of a new boiler — we'll explain exactly why, and what your options are.

Most of the time, yes. When you call we check engineer availability and whether the boiler your home needs is in stock. If next day is possible we will say so and confirm the date on the call. If it is not, we will tell you the earliest date we can genuinely do it rather than promise something we cannot keep.
We can usually give you a rough price on the call, once we know what boiler you have, what has failed and the size of your home. We will not give you a final price for a boiler we have not seen — flue position, gas pipe size, the existing system and where everything runs all affect the job. So the phone gives you a ballpark, and the fixed written price follows once we have looked.
No. We come and see the system, tell you what your options are, and give you a written fixed-price quote. There is no obligation to go ahead. Sometimes a quick video call first helps us narrow things down before we come out — but it does not replace the visit.
As a guide, our Vaillant installations start from around £2,800 for an ecoFIT Pure and from around £3,500 for an ecoTEC Plus, depending on the boiler your home needs and the work involved. Those are conservative starting figures, not a quote — the written price we give you after seeing the job is the number that counts, and it does not change afterwards.
